a sad day for Hollywood...

Michael Jackson just died. OMG. I always loved him. My first favorite song was Beat It, and I remember dancing with my grandma (Nana) as a baby, probably 1 year old, to that song. He's like the Elvis of my generation... I can't believe this. Farrah Fawcett passed away this morning, now Michael Jackson... so tragic.

cleaning up the West garage!

Last weekend while Andrea, Nick & Justin were in Florida visiting Grandma Muriel, Brian and Ethan were hard at work cleaning up the West garage! Being the good wife/sister that I am, I was there for moral support, and snapped, oh, about 250 pictures along the way! I'm posting mostly because there were some really pretty nature pictures I took along with random garage stuff... so here it is!

Father's Day BBQ

It's become a tradition... bbq-ing for Father's Day at my dad & Sandy's house. My dad in his cute "DAD" apron that we bought him a couple of years ago, firing up the grill and cooking a mean dinner! This year he made fillet mignon, NY strip steak and chicken. Sandy made some really delicious deserts, too! We had a great night eating and watching the Dodgers vs. Angels game... Dodgers pulled out an awesome win, of course! I took a couple hundred pictures with my new 50mm/1.8f lens that I'm so in love with! hehe... Here's a sampling!
