last birthday before mommyhood!

I turned 27 last week... officially in my late twenties. I don't so much have a problem with the age, but more so in the fact that I don't feel 27! At most I feel like I'm.... 23? Sometimes when Brian and I are together I feel like we're 17 again... how can a decade have gone by so fast?! But, I'm incredibly happy where I am at this point in my life... married, a home owner, expecting our first baby... I couldn't ask for more. I have a wonderful family and am starting one of my own-- I am incredibly blessed.

I wasn't planning on celebrating much, but we ended up having lunch with the family on Sunday, dinner with friends Sunday night, going to the Dodger game on Monday (my actual birthday), and then had a birthday lunch the following day with my mom. Overall, it was a great last-birthday-before-baby!

Ethan's 19th birthday... (E, how did you get so old?)

Sorry I'm totally behind on my posts! They're going to be a little out of order and I'm taking SO many pictures I can't edit them fast enough to keep up with myself! haha This past Friday my little bro-in-law turned 19, and we went to dinner at none other than Paradise Cove, of course. E loves his clam chowder...

I rented a Canon 10-22mm lens to take on our trip (leaving this Thursday--yay!), which arrived early, so I was able to take some awesome pictures at the beach with it. I have edited any of these photos--they're SOOC (straight out of the camera), and they turned out awesome! I'm lovin' this lens! If only I could afford to spend $700 to have one of my very own...

Henny, my bf from way back when, her hubby Mike & son Tye moved to Dallas last year... boo :( (Luckily they're moving back home soon!) They're visiting for a couple of weeks and since this past weekend was Henny's birthday, her mom Ika (who is an amazing cook and owns the fabulous More Than Waffles restaurant in Encino with her husband Greg!) invited us over for a little birthday dinner on Friday. The table was set so beautifully-- like a mini wedding reception! Henny's friends Kari and Kurt also came over with their little son, Liam, who is 9 months old and so scrumptous! Henny's son Tye just turned 2 and just gets more and more adorable! I can't believe how big he's getting! With the two of them I was of course in BABY HEAVEN! hehe
