Parent's (and parents-to-be) Days

Lumping these 2 posts together seems like a good idea...

Mother's Day was spent at the other West house, we just bbq'd and hung out, it was nice. Sandy gave me a mother's day card (my only one... Brian didn't get me anything, but who's bitter?) along with a pregnancy mag, a book and some bath goodies. Andrea got me and Brian each a pregnancy related book. It was sweet!

For Father's Day we had breakfast at Andrea & Nick's, then I went to get a mani and pedi with Andrea (long overdue!), and then we bbq'd at Dad and Sandy's house.
It's father's day, but he's cooking for everyone!

Father's Day BBQ

It's become a tradition... bbq-ing for Father's Day at my dad & Sandy's house. My dad in his cute "DAD" apron that we bought him a couple of years ago, firing up the grill and cooking a mean dinner! This year he made fillet mignon, NY strip steak and chicken. Sandy made some really delicious deserts, too! We had a great night eating and watching the Dodgers vs. Angels game... Dodgers pulled out an awesome win, of course! I took a couple hundred pictures with my new 50mm/1.8f lens that I'm so in love with! hehe... Here's a sampling!

take me out to the seder...

Photobucket

We had one seder this year, at the Goldblatt's house, where we spend many a holiday! They are an amazing family, and every year they welcome new guests with open arms. There us no limit to the laughter and fun that goes on in this house! Here's a little glimpse into... Passover. 2009.
