Viva Las (Justin's 21st in) VEGAS!

February 12th was Justin's 21st birthday, and being the wonderful brother/sister-in-law we are, we decided we'd take Justin to Vegas, because after all, what's a 21st birthday without Vegas?! :) Justin also has new girlfriend, Ashley, who's great, so the four of us took a nice long road trip to Vegas at the end of February! We stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton... Here's a little documentation of our fun trip...

Will You Be My Valentine?

We have (we think) a cute Valentine's Day tradition. Every year, we stay at home, one of us cooks dinner, and for gifts we exchange pajamas. This year was no different, except that it was our first Valentine's Day as a married couple! :) Here are a few pictures that marked the occasion for us...

the menu:
-drink: peach bellinis!
-appetizer salad: arugula, dates, blue cheese and cherry tomatoes with honey mustard dressing
-entree: chicken chopped with sweet red, green & yellow peppers, onions, garlic and balsamic vinegar
-dessert: caramel sundae with homemade cinnamon-sugar chips

A San Francisco Treat!

About a month ago we went to visit Lauren's best friend Liz, who recently moved to San Francisco. Its been years since either of us had been there, so we went for nice long weekend. We had a very touristy trip, which was really fun... for us! (Sorry Liz! :)
